The soap breaks down biomaterials such as grease, oil, and dirt, trapping them in bubbles called micelles, after which they can be rinsed down the drain. Since COVID-19 has an outer fatty lipid layer, this is especially effective.

Hand sanitiser

Although hand sanitiser is not as effective as soap and water, it’ll do in a pinch. Hand sanitisers containing at least 60% alcohol by volume can reduce the amount of germs on your hands drastically.
However, sanitisers have been shown to be ineffective in situations where hands are visibly grimy or greasy. They cannot get rid of all kinds of germs, but they are useful if there is no soap and water available.

Bleach

Sodium hypochlorite is the active ingredient in bleach, and it’s extremely effective against the virus. After applying bleach to a surface or using it to disinfect your clothes as directed on the bottle, leave it to do its job for at least ten to fifteen minutes. The bleach will break down the ribonucleic acid of the virus, leaving it unable to replicate.
Although all these products are effective against COVID-19, it is of the utmost importance that you practice good hygiene and social distancing, and quarantine yourself as needed.
